Residential Overhead Door Technician (Install and Service)

Install, service, and repair Overhead garage doors and garage door operators. Work takes place at residential homes, multifamily residential units, and new construction home sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Maintain company truck and equipment
  • Trouble shooting and repair problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Clean up job site when finished
  • Maintain accurate and legible company records
  • Being punctual to jobsites
  • Following all company and OHSA safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean driving records

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s licenses
  • Available to work minimum 40 hours week with some overtime and Saturday work.
  • Customer service or construction experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and grammar is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Be able to work on ladders at varying heights

Commercial Overhead Door Technician (Install and Service)

Install, service and repair Overhead Sectional and Rolling doors including electric operators and coiling fire doors. Other products include Dock Equipment and a variety of specialty doors such as high speed fabric doors. Work takes place at commercial sites whether it is a place of business or a new construction site.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Very mechanical aptitude in general
  • Understand nature of fasteners and use of hand and power tools
  • Wood working ability and general carpentry skills

Residential Entry Door Installer

Install Residential Entry Doors and storm doors, interior doors and some replacement windows. Work takes place at residential homes. This is a finish carpenter type position..

Preferred Skills:

  • Diplomacy with customers of all sorts
  • Represent our company well
  • Very mechanical aptitude in general
  • Understand nature of fasteners and use of hand and power tools
  • Wood working ability and general carpentry skills

Other Qualifications:

  • Good work ethic and reliable
  • Very detailed finish work as most doors are pre finished (painted or stained)
  • Ability to work independently or in crews
  • Communicate situations and issues verbally or via documentation
  • Available – minimum 40 hours a week
